Hi all - I'm purchasing a used 2013 Q5 2.0T Premium Plus with 80K miles on it. My plan is to service and drive until the wheels fall off so hoping it's about halfway through life cycle, with the right amount of care moving forward. Currently in process of finding/scheduling a pre-inspection in Atlanta. Any suggestions on particular known costly recurring issues to have a mechanic look at (don't have a trusty one yet unfortunately)?

Hi, I have had 3 Audi’s before my most recent one, a used 2013 Q5 Premium with $58,700 miles thinking that I wouldn’t have to worry about a big maintenance for a while. It now has 79,330 and the timing chain needs to be replaced! The dealer says it’s of course a mechanical component sooooo one can’t put a time on when or if it goes bad. Talked to Audi USA and they gather info bot issues to see if there’s a pattern of failure. Said all that to say have that checked for looseness or lag on the tensioner. timing belt
