Greetings Q5 forum peeps. Evergreen, Colorado based newbie here.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the various mods/tweaks/updates I can do on a 2015 Q5 3.0 S-line which hopefully will be delivered within the next 2 weeks. Car is being shipped from East Coast.
I'm a long time Audi person having owned various models dating back to '84. (4000 Quattro) Within the family we still have: 01 Allroad tip 200k w/ k04's/dp's/GIAC chips/exhaust/arnotts.... I'm about to retire that car but it's been a faithful steed since purchase in 04. 13 years is a long time. I'm just tired of having to be constantly vigilant with control arms/leaks/and now a misfire I can't find.

95 UrS6 Avant-- 130K bone stock with exception of big reds, H&R springs and wheels/tires. I've never done anything but a clutch and timing belt and this car has been bulletproof. We also have a 95 S6 sedan parts car w/ complete drivetrain rough body/ interior (hail damage) and sun damage.

Leads me to today... I've been looking for a replacement for the AR and initially wanted a Q5 /A6 3.0 TDI, (too expensive in any config) b8.5 S4, (insurance and practicality) C7A6 3.0 and then stumbled onto this 60K '15 Q5 3.0T...I want to know what I can anticipate as far as repairs, maint, and tweaks. This is a prem+ with S line, (seats, flat bottom wheel, blacked out trim, audi drive, etc) B&O, tow package in mythos black/black and 19" wheels.
1st phase mechanically is to do APR stage1, and pulley. Maybe induction/exhaust later--what is the consensus on best of those? It will be my driver here in Colorado (lots of dirt, rocky roads) so I don't want to get too carried away w/suspension and cosmetics. I'm keen on enhancing sound system (will adding a better sub to the sound system be enough) as well as enabling casting from phone to nav screen. I plan to get a vag com (ross-tech?) to be able to monitor/potentially modify various settings if possible. (If anyone has one for sale, I'd be interested.) Question is, what are some of these mods?
If there are areas within the Audi forums which already address these, (Even if simply tied to drivetrain mods) I'd be obliged in knowing.
Thanks in advance everyone!!
Patrick

Mike,
Thanks for response. Love mine so far but have a really weird thing going on with steering. It literally wont center. Goes 1-2mm either way but will not stay on center. You?

It could be a tire wear issue or needs alignment.

Hi Everyone!

I am in The Woodlands, TX and I brought a 2018 SQ5 in September last year.
I love the car but it would be perfect if it had a remote start either on the key fob or app, in the summer when it is triple digits and hot I used to start my previous vehicle from the store or work and it would be cool by the time I got to it. Also the it would benefit from a touch screen input as well. Maybe in the future!
Stay safe!

I agree with the Remote Start Option. My wife drive's our Q5 to work more than I. With those bitter cold morning's we've been dealing with Remote Start would be a plus.

How much did that cost to install?

It's not the cost of installation that's the problem. The fact is that "Remote Start" isn't available for Audi's. The dealer stated that Remote Starts were "illegal in Europe".

Wow I didn't know it was illegal in Europe.

I've seen it available in the States
