Thermostat Housing Noise

I had a new thermostat housing installed and it appears to be making an actuator type noise every time I go to use the car. The noise is coming from the new thermostat housing. I am also getting a reduced coolant flow message now - putting me into limp mode after driving for awhile. The car is not overheating. Anybody know if there should be a repeated sound coming from the thermostat housing? I have a video of the noise but it appears I can’t post it here.
