6 beeps

hi all


i get 6 beeps on start up, from the dash board

i initially thought it was the battery, but that has been replaced and coded

the car shows no fault codes

the beeps are the same as the seat belt warning beeps, so defo from the dash............not from the alarm

sometimes, i get 3 beeps..............rarely i get no beeps

usually 6 beeps

it is going back to the dealer next week !!

any ideas?

as said, dash beeps...... not from the alarm

car starts perfect...no sign of drained battery...which is new

once the 6 beeps have sounded, i dont here them again, until i have turned off the car
then when i turn on again....back come

i will mention that to the garage, just strange its from the dash and not the alarm

it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo obvious........its stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you put your seat belt on 1st, you get no beeps !!!

the problem with forums, is every one thinks the worst !!

i was told
low battery
low alarm battery
someone had cut the alarm battery
needed a new battery

6 beeps means the seat belt isn't plugged in, and you've turned on the ignition !!!
