The all new next generation 2018 Audi Q5 was shown off at the Paris Auto Show and the vehicle came with plenty of improvements, a new chassis and some new technology and it showed off what the BMW X3 doesn't have.
The Audi Q5 does have the MLB2 platform of the Audi A4 and this means that the weight has been reduced by 220lbs. The loss of weight means that the vehicle is going to offer up fuel economy that is improved along with better handling.
Thanks to the new architecture f the Audi Q5 it is going up against the BMW X3 directly and it's going to offer a choice of four and six cylinder diesel and gas engines. However these are not going to be the more prominent feature as this is going to be one that fans are going to fall in love with.
The Audi Q5 has something that the BMW X3 doesn't have and this is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Audi seems to think that this is a feature that people want and will love and they have even boasted about it one of their ads.
